They pick you up between 5:00 am to 6:00 am, not a good sign, right??

Ok, but, I promise you, the rest of the day is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions, from delicious breakfast, silly jokes in the bus with your guides, to rowing in rough white waters.

When the river slows down, you get a chance to admire the natural beauties around you and even swim, but be aware, it is not over… more rapids around the corner await you, and you have to paddle fast to survive!

Where: San Jose, La Fortuna, Manuel Antonio, Guanacaste.

Rivers:  Savegre River, Naranjo river, Pacuare River, Pejibaye River, Balsa River, Reventazon River, Sarapiquí River, Tenorio River, Corobici River.

When: All year around, early morning, may be cancelations during rainy season.

Who: From 13 and up accompanied by an adult, rapids class 3 or 4 only recommended for young ones older than 18.

How much: From $57 half day tour to Sarapiqui river.
