Forest Bathing Experience
This ancient practice is originally from Japan, and the name of it is Shinrin-Yoku, which means forest bathing, recommended to improve mental and physical health. It is a practice that helps calm the mind and reconnect with yourself through the forest by letting your senses feel everything that happens around you.
It is a 2 or 3-hour walk of not more than 600 meters where the facilitator will make invitations to discover the many beautiful and magic things happening around you, like the sound of the wind through the leaves, the texture of the trees, or the light reflecting on the flowers. It is an opportunity to slow down and benefit from our mother nature’s healing energy, a great way to fight stress, fears, anxiety, and depression.
Forest bathing also helps improve your mood and energy levels, creativity, and focus. This therapy is available in Costa Rica and can be done in the Central Valley and other areas of the country, suitable for groups or individuals.
